Top Employer of the Year


The award is open to any Philippines-based organization that achieved important employer success while overseeing a business enterprise either within Philippines or outside of it. The accomplishment(s) must demonstrate Filipino (or mixed Filipino/expatriate) management talent performing at the highest standards and be recognized as internationally significant.

The majority of demonstrable results, major new activities or initiative(s) should have occurred within the current calendar year but may have begun earlier.

JUDGING CRITERIA

  1. Workplace Enhancement - Explain how the organization has improved the professional careers and personal lives of employees. Examples include: training programs provided at different levels, health and wellness programs, mentorship and coaching programs, mental health programs, special accommodations to working mothers, etc.
  2. Work-life Balance - Discuss the specific programs that promote work-life balance for its employees.
  3. Recognition - Provide any recognitions received by the organization related to human resources development. Supporting documentation could include internal reports, newsletters, media articles, etc. If there are awards received, include the name of the awarding organization, title of award and year.
  4. Talent Development - Describe specific training and skills development initiatives that enabled employees to be promoted or acquire high value skills.
  5. Social Commitment - Describe activities and initiatives that demonstrate the organization is interested to improve the lives and conditions of people outside the organization. These could be family members of employees, involvement in corporate social responsibility programs, student skills development, etc.
  6. Management Achievement - Describe the specific achievements with data indicating outstanding leadership related to human resources over previous years. Provide supporting data including: (i) Number of employees; (ii) Size of the office in square meters; (iii) Number of years of operations; (iv) Number of locations/branches; (v) Retention rates; (vi) Employee Satisfaction scores (for example, net promoter scores); (vii) Promotion rate and any other similar supporting data.
